Minecrafts world generator has changed over the years, so in order to use some of the previous version seeds, all you need to do is switch versions in the launcher. Unlike other Minecraft seed apps, we include seeds for many, many versions of the game. That way you can create an epic world, say in Version 1.6, and then change Minecraft game versions to the latest to play on it!
